Numerous health problems of the head and neck are caused by using a screen. You might not believe it: I have relieved many people of headaches, migraines, or pain in the neck and shoulders. I didn't have to do much for that.

It was completely sufficient to give the screen of those affected a different place on their desk or to change its position.

In most cases, it was enough to properly adjust the distance between the screen and the eyes as well as the screen height. In almost all cases, the discomfort disappeared within a short time, or at least could be greatly reduced.

Also make sure that you look at your screen without an unnaturally twisted posture. This is how you avoid tension. Keep the following two rules of thumb in mind:

This applies to the

CORRECT SCREEN HEIGHT:

The top edge of your screen is about two centimeters below the center of your eyes. As a result, your neck area assumes an untensioned, natural position and relaxes. Looking up is particularly tiring for the neck. To notice this, follow a flying airplane with your eyes sometime. You won't last very long. For the neck muscles, it is healthiest to look slightly downwards.

This applies to the

DISTANCE OF YOUR EYES FROM THE SCREEN:

If you can touch the screen with your fingers while sitting with outstretched arms, your eyes are at the ideal distance. Your eyes will then tire less quickly and your visual acuity is protected.
