Do you know this: In many offices, the humidity is too low and the temperature is too high! These are not good conditions for work performance and well-being.
If the central heating is set to a high level, this not only increases the risk of infections, but many people also get eye complaints from it. Or the nostrils dry out, and the mouth feels like parchment.
An office that is too warm makes you tired. You should therefore keep an eye on the room temperature, preferably with the help of a clearly visible thermometer. A room temperature of 21-22°C is perceived as pleasant and supports concentration.
And now for the humidity: this should reach 40-60%!
When using an air conditioning system, it can be up to 70%. An average value of 50% should be aimed for.
If the air is too dry, airing the room can help make the situation more bearable. Plants can also contribute to higher humidity.
If you prefer technical means, it is best to purchase a humidifier.
Measuring means knowing: You measure the humidity with a hygrometer (moisture meter).
There are also combination devices on the market that measure carbon dioxide (CO2), room temperature, and humidity. All in all, a helpful first step to give the climate in your office the attention it deserves!
