Hours of uninterrupted concentration is not our thing, we are not built for that, so to speak. However, our performance remains at a high level if we regularly send our brain on short recovery breaks and recharge our energy with small snacks.

But beware: Not every "fuel" has the same effect! The optimal snack contains as few carbohydrates as possible. So no cookies, no piece of cake, no light chocolate and so on and so forth...

Fruit, on the other hand, is an almost unsurpassable source of quick and healthy energy. Above all, apples, bananas, and mandarins.

  • Apples contain many vitamins that are located directly under the skin. Do not cut them away, but eat your apple with the skin.
  • Bananas are rich in potassium and magnesium: the perfect energy for thinking.
  • Mandarins are healthier than oranges. They not only strengthen the natural defense system with vitamin C, they also strengthen the bone structure, protect the liver, and rejuvenate the skin.

Grapes contain a lot of vitamin B. They are energy boosters for cells and the immune system, promote blood circulation, and prevent cardiovascular diseases. Red grapes are healthier than white ones. Studies show that grapes are among the top fruits and vegetables most contaminated with pollutants. You should therefore only consume organic grapes.

Nuts (almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, cashew nuts) have a high energy value, promote brain functions, and satisfy hunger. Although they provide vital and healthy fatty acids, they are also very high in calories. They should therefore be enjoyed in moderation.

Raw vegetables contain numerous important nutrients. For example, extremely delicious vegetable sticks can be conjured up from carrots, celery, bell peppers, radishes, and cucumbers.

Berries (raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, etc.) protect and strengthen the body. They keep the brain fresh, pamper the heart, lower blood pressure, and can help against cancer.

Boiled eggs quickly give a feeling of satiety and are an ideal source of protein.

For those with a sweet tooth, dark chocolate is recommended. Its plant-based active ingredients improve blood flow, have a mentally stabilizing effect, and stimulate brain functions. The darker, the healthier and lower in calories!

Leave all unhealthy snacks aside! Refresh and strengthen yourself with healthy things: dried fruits, dark chocolate, nuts. A special tip is almonds.

Three or four of them, well chewed, help against heartburn after meals.
