Healthy Snack Breaks

Uninterrupted concentration for hours is not our thing, we are not built for it. However, our performance remains at a high level if we regularly give our brain short breaks for recovery and recharge it with small meals.

But beware: Not every “food” works the same! The optimal snack between meals should contain a minimum amount of carbohydrates. That means no cookies, no piece of cake, no light chocolate, and so on …

On the other hand, fruits are the best source of fast and healthy energy – especially apples, bananas, and mandarins.

  • Apples contain many vitamins directly under the skin. Do not cut them away, rather eat your apple with skin.
  • Bananas are rich in potassium and magnesium: the perfect energy for thinking.
  • Mandarins are healthier than oranges. They not only boost the body’s immune system with vitamin C, but also strengthen the skeleton, protect the liver, and rejuvenate the skin.

Grapes contain a high amount of vitamin B. They strengthen cells and the immune system, promote blood circulation, and prevent heart and circulatory diseases. Red grapes are healthier than white ones. Research has shown that grapes are among the most polluted fruits and vegetables. Therefore, you should only eat organic grapes.

Nuts (almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, cashews) have high energy values, stimulate brain functions, and reduce hunger. Although they provide vital and healthy fatty acids, they are also very rich in calories and should be consumed in moderation.

Raw vegetables contain many important nutrients. For example, carrots, celery, paprika, radishes, and cucumbers can be delicious vegetable sticks.

Berries (raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, etc.) protect and strengthen the body. They keep the brain fresh, pamper the heart, lower blood pressure, and help to prevent cancer.

Boiled eggs quickly give a feeling of fullness and are a perfect source of protein.

Dark chocolate is recommended for the sweet tooth. Their herbal ingredients improve the blood supply, act psychologically to stabilize the body, and stimulate the brain functions. The darker the chocolate, the more healthily with fewer calories!

Forget about all unhealthy snacks! Refresh and strengthen yourself with healthy foods:

Dried fruits, dark chocolate, nuts. Almonds especially are a good choice. Chewing three or four of them will help to prevent heartburn after meals.
